Machine Age has just scrawled his name out as the one to watch in Australian rock.

Breaking out of Far North Queensland, it’s the moniker of Adrian Mauro, who quickly made a name for himself right off the bat with his debut release ‘Chivalry’ in 2015, grabbing a rare five stars from Richard Kingsmill on triple j and the simple endorsement of “This has class written all over it.”

The same more than applies two years on and, having just signed to the rapidly-rising New World Artists, Machine Age is damn-near guaranteed to tear 2017 apart with his enormous new rock dirge ‘Chivalry Is Dead’.

It catches you off guard right from the start, a distant, menacing stomp giving way to the wail of a fierce industrial beast. Drums follow soon after, and the sky collapses into one of the most exciting piece of two-man rock we’ve heard in a long, long time.

Complete with an impeccably-shot performance clip, it’s the first release of many planned to drop in the coming months, and we’re on edge to see what he’ll unleash on us this year as he settles in between Northlane and Thy Art Is Murder on the New World roster.
