Melbourne trio Breve are today unveiling their stunning new single ‘Movement’ the first new single since last year’s line-up change and it’s potentially their most impressive single yet.
The past 12 months has seen the three-piece evolve from the more languid realms of psychedelia to embrace an upbeat and experimental approach to their songwriting. ‘Movement’ is Breve exploring their new experimental side. Think harsh guitars, hypnotic bass grooves and driving rhythms and moving, raw vocals.
The three-piece have recently completed recording for their debut album. In the lead up to the release they are putting out a 7″ Double A-side, the first release under local label Psychic Ric Records. Recently they’ve supported local psych staples like Flyying Colours and Lurch & Chief as well as co-headlining Stargazed: In Search of Lost Time.
