Local Aussie rapper Birdz, has a pretty unique story, from being raised in a small town of the Northern Territory, to residing in Toronto, Canada for two years.

During his time in Canada, Birdz embraced the North American experience and learning from Canada’s wider Aboriginal community, while then returned to Australia uninhibited showcasing a vulnerability that grants his listeners an all access pass to the elevation of a proud Aboriginal Australian.

Today he’s premiering his new video ‘Right To Be Wrong’ featuring Dylan Smith which displays Birdz’s unmatched ability to articulate lived experience with political observations, effortlessly weaving in and out of melodic flows and sonically producing a Hip Hop sound unlike any other Australia has ever hear.

Produced by leading songwriter and hip hop artist Joelistics ‘Right To Be Wrong’ is a parody of life’s temptations. Chasing the allure of the forbidden, Birdz takes us on a smooth ride over the song’s funk driven bounce, offering insight into his personal account as a proud Aboriginal Australian.
