Local alt-country star Imogen Clark is today unveiling the video clip for her latest single ‘Take Me For A Ride’, a taste of her anticipated debut album, set for release later in 2016.
Citing classic influences like Joni Mitchell and Ryan Adams – her modern take on classic emotive folk songwriting has seen her shortlisted for APRA’s prestigious Vanda & Young Songwriting Competition for the 2013 EP Stories from a Porcelain City and her single ‘Ceaseless Goodbye’. Since then the accolades and critical acclaim has continued to flow in.
Having recently signed a record deal with Universal Music Australia on their Lost Highway label, expect plenty more incredible releases in the not too distant future (including the upcoming LP).
