Local rockers The Ugly Kings are back and they’ve got a powerfully moody new single and trippy new video to unleash.
Following their sold out vinyl launch at Cherry Bar last November, the Melbourne heavy blues powerhouse of a band are gearing up and ready to strike celebrating the video release with their first major headline show of 2016 at The Evelyn.
The band explain behind the meaning of the clip “bound by our own sense of guilt, thrust upon us by a society still suffering from prejudicial religious values, we can never be truly free until we can break out of the ropes that keep us from being who we truly are.”
Check out the killer clip below, and if you like what you’re hearing and seeing be sure to visit the band’s Facebook page for more info on upcoming shows and releases.
