Karaoke ranks pretty high on the list of fun things to do while out with friends and heavily intoxicated, but how’d you like to do it backed by a punk rock supergroup and not a cheesy Casio recreation of ‘Don’t Stop Believin”?
NOFX’s Eric Melvin, Bad Religion’s Greg Hetson, Darrin Pfeiffer of Goldfinger, and Steve Soto of The Adolescents are heading Down Under this February to perform special punk rock karaoke shows in venues across the country.
“The rules are simple: We have a sign up sheet. You pick your song. We give you the lyrics. When your song is called, come up and join the band,” the band write. “No, we can’t play every punk song from 1867 to present day.”
“We hand pick our favourites from back to when dinosaurs pogoed along side with the punchers. It’s always a LOT of fun… even if you don’t sing (but know ya should).” Tickets go on sale 9am Friday, 6th November. Check below for details.
