Radiohead’s surprise new album was released on their website a day early and fans have been taking it all in. Some critics are calling King of Limbs groundbreaking, while others suggest that the band is just treading water.
Over at www.spin.com Charles Aaron wonders if the album’s title and resulting acronym (KOL) is a dig at corporate rock behemoths Kings of Leon, while Tim Jonze in The Guardian says they have “failed to come up with anything that might surprise us this time … this teeters on the brink of self-parody.” What do you think?
