Guitarist Jonny Greenwood has jumped on to Radiohead’s website to give an update on the band’s progress with the follow up to 2007’s In Rainbows. Following a recent interview in Italian Rolling Stone in which the writer said Jonny had stated that the band had recorded 10 tracks and would play live again soon, Jonny now says things were ‘lost in translation’. His statement on the www.radiohead.com blog reads: “I think this italian writer (referred to here) has, either through over-enthusiasm, or frustration at all my non-committal answers, mistranslated me a little….in fact we haven’t quite finished the album – in the studio at the moment – nor have we yet considered any touring. The plan is to have no plan until the record is finished….hope that’s a little clearer!”
