Wolf & Cub
Heavy Weight
Four years on from the release of their second album Science & Sorcery Wolf & Cub are returning with a new full-length release.
In 2011 Brock Fitzgerald and Wade Keighran (both formerly of The Scare) joined original Wolf & Cub members Joel Byrne and Joel Carey. The result is a powerful line up which boasts a sense of renewal and vitality.
In 2012 Wolf & Cub previewed their new direction with their single ‘Salao’. Their newest single ‘I Need More’ is a gripping rock song. More urgent-sounding than its psychedelic predecessor, it’s a song that’s dripping with discontent and delivered via a thumping rock beat.
Heavy Weight is out September 13th through MGM.
Tracklisting not yet available.
Man Man
On Oni Pond
The new record features an arresting reconstruction of the Philedelphia band’s visionary sound; stripped to its core and rebuilt as something new and compelling yet still very much MAN MAN.
This marked shift is a direct result of an intensive collaboration between the band’s front man Honus Honus and drummer Pow Pow, who has assumed a new-found prominence in the song writing process, bringing an exhilarating array of new rhythmic ideas to the mix
The compositions were further honed by the band members along with producer Mike Mogis (Bright Eyes, First Aid Kit) into a compelling mash-up of Fear Of Music era Talking Heads, classic soul, psychedelia, hip hop and 50s rock and roll.
On Oni Pond will be releases September 13th on Anti Records
