Next year is set to see a huge milestone on the Aussie music scene, with the Red Hot Summer Tour celebrating its 10th anniversary.
First kicking off in 2011 with a humble line-up of three artists on the bill and six shows throughout Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia, the festival has grown continuously ever since, and now boasts some of the most mouth-watering lineups you could dream of.
Obviously, with a milestone like this on the way, organisers were keen to ensure that the festival’s 10th anniversary lineup was one that fans would be talking about for years to come. In true fashion, that’s exactly what they’ve served up, with one of the finest celebrations of Aussie rock ever hitting the road next January.
Kicking things off at the Bendigo Racecourse on January 4th and travelling all over the country throughout the coming months, punters all over Australia are set to receive a lineup headed up by none other than pub-rock icons Hunters & Collectors.
Performing their first live shows since 2017, the Melbourne collective are set to bring their anthemic tracks to their legions devoted fans, showing everyone why they’re such a beloved piece of Aussie music history.
“The lads are very excited to be getting out into all the regional towns that made them welcome when they were touring at their peak throughout Australia,” explained lead singer Mark Seymour. “This tour is going to be huge.”

It doesn’t end there though, with Australian Crawl frontman James Reyne joining the bill, ahead of The Living End, The Angels, Baby Animals, Killing Heidi, and Boom Crash Opera. Let’s face it, if ever there was an opportunity to score a history lesson in Australian rock music, the Red Hot Summer Tour is it.
“The past 10 years have gone so fast and we have been so proud to see the Red Hot Summer Tour continue to grow each year,” explains promoter Duane McDonald. “The support we have received from audiences has been phenomenal.
“To everyone who has attended a Red Hot Summer Tour show over the last decade – thank you. You are the reason we do what we do, and will continue to bring you the best quality music experience, every year.
“We can’t wait to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Red Hot Rock with music fans around the country.”
Tickets to the 10th anniversary of the Red Hot Summer Tour go on sale through Ticketek from 9am AEST on Thursday, August 8th. Be sure to get in quick, because a stunning lineup like this only comes around once in a lifetime!
