The lineup for Resilience Festival has been announced, and it is chock-full of Australia’s alternative music forerunners. Resilience Festival is an event that aims to open up a conversation around Mental Health and suicide awareness. Organiser Greg McManus explains that:

“A number of people have taken their lives in the area in the last 18 months and we want to raise awareness and funds to pump back into the community and support people in the area.

Resilience 2018 is a one day festival designed to shed light on services available in the community to reach out to, showcase the range of activities and groups in the area to improve well being and live music featuring a mix of both premium Australian artists along with local talent.

Our vision is to breakdown the barriers and stigma surrounding mental health and suicide prevention, as well as donate money back into the local community to help improve services in the region. There is a need to bring the community closer and support each other through these times and we encourage everyone to get involved.

Reflect, Recover, Live… Resilience!”
