Rex Orange County is a name that needs no introduction. The UK-born indie-pop singer has a slew of hits, including massive tracks with Tyler, The Creator and more.
But, the artist is best known for the singles ‘Loving Is Easy’ and ‘Best Friend’, both of which became massive hits across the globe.
Notably, the English singer plays every single instrument on both of those tracks, and he wore the producer hat throughout.
Touring around the globe, the artist’s rise has been one of a rather rapid nature, with some even dubbing him an overnight success.
He blessed Australians earlier this year at Laneway Festival, and also played a slew of intimate shows across the country. Not surprisingly, they sold out within minutes.
Yesterday, the internet went wild at the news that he would have new music this week, and lucky for us, he has delivered!
Now, he returns with a brand new track, ’10/10′ – his first new music since February this year. And, his first formal single release since 2017.
The music video for ‘10/10’, directed by the incredible Warren Fu, finds Rex performing the track in his own home, with an array of supernatural happenings going on around him.
With any luck, Rex Orange County will have a new third album at some stage this year, but nothing is locked in just yet.
