Rex Orange County has taken to Twitter to tease his brand new single ’10/10′, which is dropping officially tomorrow.

The beloved artist is finally making a return to his usual form, releasing brand new music as of tomorrow for the previously teased “REX3.”

The first batch of teasers was an image which simply said “10/10”. Colours bright and bubbly, it’s enough to excite us for Rex’s new era of music.

Rex was generous enough to post a mere appetiser of a snippet onto his Twitter, which we’ve had on repeat since it first dropped. It may only be ten seconds but we’re in love with it all already.

You can take a listen to the already iconic snippet down below. Headphones out and be ready to fall in love.

In January of this year, tickets for Rex Orange County’s concert sold out in record times, leaving fans miserable at the wayside, ticket-less and mad as hell.

Australia’s appetite for Rex Orange County was definitely confirmed after his Laneway Festival sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne sold out in mere minutes.

20-year-old Alexander O’Connor, has been making waves ever since he featured on Tyler the Creator’s Flower Boy album. But his fans have been singing his praises since the release of his singles ‘Loving Is Easy’ and ‘Best Friend’, on which he plays every instrument and produced them as well.

It would have made sense to upgrade the venue to Enmore Theatre in order to cope with demand. But, alas, Lily Allen was hosting her sold-out Sydney leg at the venue on the same night in support of her fourth record No Shame.

Fans quickly constructed the Facebook event “Stand outside Rex and cry cause you didn’t get a ticket.”
