If you’re keen on stunning Aussie artists in a picturesque location, then you might want to head on over to Echuca-Moama for the Riverboats Music Festival, who have announced their 2020 lineup today.
Announced today, the twin towns of Echuca-Moama are set to become a hive of activity in February of 2020 when the Riverboats Music Festival descends upon them, with beloved Aussie artists helping to bring music to the Murray River.
Next year’s event will feature some of the most iconic names on the Australian music scene, with the likes of Bernard Fanning, Kate-Miller Heidke, Something For Kate, and Troy Cassar-Daley helping to kick of the festivities.
But it doesn’t end there though, with Archie Roach, Dyson Stringer Cloher, Robert Forster, and the inimitable Bob Evans also joining the bill.

Meanwhile, Riverboats’ paddle steamer sideshows will also be expanded, with the Pride of the Murray paddle steamer set to host one-hour performances from the likes of Mama Kin Spender, Jess Locker, Horns Of Leroy, and Ainslie Wills while cruising down the river.
Matt Joe Gow will also be climbing aboard the paddle steamer, in addition to helping bring the Annual Festival Breakfast to life at the Beechworth Bakery on Sunday, February 16th.
“We are thrilled to be bringing together a collection of Australian artists representing the absolute cream of the crop,” explains Festival Director David Frazer.
“With the Murray River as our backdrop, Riverboats once again provides a welcome tonic to many of the bigger events taking place across the summer months. If a picnic rug and a good bottle of wine is how you like your festivals these days, come and join us for a weekend on the river.”
It all kicks off on Friday, February 14th, 2020 and runs until Sunday the 16th. Located just two and a half hours north of Melbourne, the historic twin towns of Echuca-Moama serve as an idyllic location for not only a weekend getaway, but a prime destination for one of the best festival lineups you’ll see for quite some time.
