Ever wondered what some of music’s biggest legends would be doing today if they hadn’t shuffled off this mortal coil for the great gig in the sky? Well, Florida company Sachs Media Group thinks they’ve got the answer, with their peek into ‘Rock & Roll Heaven’, paying tribute to rock’s fallen legends with a gallery of 12 (slightly macabre) portraits imagining what the likes of Kurt Cobain, Hendrix, Lennon, Elvis, and more would look like if they were still alive. Not only that, but musicologists Dr. Reebee Garofalo and Elijah Wald have offered their two cents’ worth on how these legends’ various careers would have progressed had they not left us before their time, including Bob Marley working with Kanye West, Lennon’s Yoko Ono starring rock band, and Doors frontman Jim Morrison becoming an indie film-maker.
