This week will see triple j presenting a very special edition of Like A Version as a tribute to David Bowie, who sadly passed earlier this week after a secret battle with cancer.
Australian singer-songwriter Sarah Blasko will be entering the triple j studios to take on one of the icon’s classic tracks and a stripped-back version of one of her own tunes.
Tributes have been flowing for the late 69-year-old since news broke of his death. triple j sister station Double J played Bowie back-to-back for 14 hours, including a three-hour tribute show.
While it’s not yet known which Bowie track Blasko will cover, we’ve been promised it’s “one of his best known songs”. Check out the last time Blasko took on a Like A Version cover below.
