Thrash metal icon, Scott Ian of Anthrax has announced a speaking tour of Australia for September and October this year. The only remaining founding member of the iconic band will bring his One Man Riot tour to Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane where he’ll be chatting with fans about everything including his 38 years of touring the world, ridiculous metal antics, and his time in bands like Stormtroopers Of Death and The Damned Things.

“One Man Riot is what I call my talking show because the pretension of saying I am doing a ‘Spoken Word’ show is too much to bear. This isn’t a poetry reading. This isn’t an evening of sensitive discourse. It’s an evening of ridiculous truth,” said Ian in a statement.

It’s me talking (swearing) about this insane life I’ve led over the last 38 years, the people I’ve met and the shit that’s happened. And when I’m done swearing, you can ask me anything you want, the floor is yours.  Cheers my friends.”

Ian released his second autobiographical book Access All Areas – Stories From A Hard Rock Life in December last year and has previously taken his speaking tours to the US, Europe and Canada to huge acclaim.
