After releasing debut single ‘Takin’ Over’ to both local and international acclaim, the genre-blending explosion that is Sex On Toast are back with perhaps their most ambitious release yet; a hedonistic nod of the head to the glory and wonderment of Studio 54 in the form of glitter bombs, drag queens, and good old fashioned 80s steeze.

Shot under the supervision of director Peter Savieri (Sophie Brous) and cinematographer Katie Milwright (Donny Benet), the debut film clip is swarming with the type of class and tongue-in cheek sensibilities Sex On Toast are renowned for. From synchronized dance moves to saxophone based tomfoolery, it is hard not to fall headfirst into their chaotic, yet refined, world.

The idea of the pursuit of the unattainable is present throughout the clip, but in typical Sex On Toast fashion, never tarnishes the clip’s overwhelming sense of fun. Its three-tiered visual display is brought to life through the effortless charisma of front man Angus Leslie, whose absorbing facial expressions and photogenic charm make him the perfect center piece in Savieri’s unique creation.
