In laughable developments, one of Australia’s arguably worst bands has won music TV channel Music V’s award for their artist of the year. No doubt reeking of the pheremones of the pre-pubescent girls who  voted them the ‘award’, the band fended off competition from Amy Meredith, Bliss N’ Eso and John Butler Trio. “Thank you so much to everyone who voted and Channel [V],” said the band. “This is the icing on the cake for an amazing year for us and the beginning of [their latest album] This Is Bat Country.” We look forward to them offering us fries with our order at a fast food outlet in the near future.
