Sia has continued on her crusade of leaving a sour taste in everyone’s mouth with her latest take on comments on actor and ‘Elastic Heart’ collaborator Shia LaBeouf.

In December last year, FKA twigs filed a lawsuit against former-partner Shia LaBeouf, alleging that she was subjected to “relentless abuse,” sexual battery, assault, and emotional distress.

In a report detailed by The New York Times, the lawsuit details a series of abusive allegations, including a 2019 incident in which the actor allegedly assaulted her outside a petrol station in California during a road trip. FKA twigs also alleged that LaBeouf knowingly gave her a sexually transmitted disease.

“What I went through with Shia was the worst thing I’ve ever been through in the whole of my life,” FKA twigs told The Times at the time. “I don’t think people would ever think that it would happen to me. But I think that’s the thing. It can happen to anybody.”

Following the allegations coming to light, Sia tweeted a link to the New York Times article that broke the story of FKA twigs’ lawsuit, writing, “I too have been hurt emotionally by Shia, a pathological liar, who conned me into an adulterous relationship claiming to be single.

“I believe he’s very sick and have compassion for him AND his victims. Just know, if you love yourself- stay safe, stay away.” She added in a follow-up tweet, “Also I love you ⁦@FKAtwigs⁩ This is very courageous and I’m very proud of you.”

In a new interview with The Sunday Times, Sia has further detailed her past romantic involvement with LaBeouf, musing that he is a “sick puppy” that she will “always love.”

“It turns out he was using the same lines on me and Twigsy, and eventually we found out because we ended up talking to one another,” she claimed. “Both of us thought we were singly dating him.

“But that wasn’t the case. And he was still married.”

The Adelaide singer-songwriter went on to claim that LaBeouf “wanted to marry me and live a sober life.”

“I feel like I’m always gonna love him because he’s such a sick puppy,” she continued.

On February 5th, Shia LaBeouf filed a “defendants answer to complaint” denying “each and every allegation contained” in FKA Twigs’ original lawsuit.

In the response, LaBeouf’s lawyer wrote that he “denies that Plaintiff [FKA Twigs, real name Tahliah Barnett] has sustained any injury or loss by reason of any act or omission on the part of Defendant, and denies that Plaintiff is entitled to any relief or damages whatsoever.”
