Byron Bay rockers Skegss have just announced their plans to hit the road later this year, touring nationally in support of their long-awaited debut album, My Own Mess.

Earlier this year, Skegss announced that they’re finally getting set to drop their debut album, My Own Mess, on September 7th, which comes after years of righteous jams and summer anthems filling the airwaves and soundtracking your weekends.

Following the success of the album’s lead single ‘Up In The Clouds’, Skegss released their newest single, ‘Smogged Out’, which followed on from a massive national tour which saw the boys rock faces from Brisbane to Perth.

Now, with the group’s debut album on the way, they’re getting ready to do what they do best and hit the road once again.

Teaming up with US rockers Twin Peaks and Newtown’s SCABZ, Skegss are set to deliver a series of huge shows throughout October and November, as they tour through New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia, and Western Australia.

“It’s going to be the biggest and best yet for us,” the band explained of the shows. “It is our Album Tour and we just can’t believe we conned the American guys Twin Peaks into joining us on it.”

Skegss have also partnered up with PLUS1 for their national tour, meaning that $1 from every ticket sold will be donated to the Mark Hughes Foundation for brain cancer research.
