Everyone’s favourite top hatted rock god, Slash, is coming to Australia to launch new Pay TV channel MTV Classic. It will be launched at the Palace Theatre on April 28th where the former Guns n’ Roses shredder will perform tracks off his new solo album Slash, as well as promising some Gunners classics.

No word on whether there will be further gigs elsewhere, but keep an eye out on Tone Deaf for updates as they come through. MTV Classic will hit the airwaves on 1st May at 5pm on Foxtel and Austar, playing music from the 1980s to the 2000s, as well as the artists that ‘shaped an MTV generation’.
