With a bunch of sidewaves having been announced some weeks ago, most hardcore fans assumed the best was over but as always, the folks at Soundwave have surprised us with yet another sideshow from none other than Slayer!
Ten studio albums, thousands of live shows and nearly three decades into a career that’s made them one of the biggest and most important metal bands in the world, the members of Slayer know exactly what kind of music they make—brutal but beautiful, punishing yet precise.
The Californian band will be appearing at Soundwave in what has been dubbed the festival’s biggest lineup yet. Joining the metal stars will be Metallica, Blink 182, Paramore and countless others.
Having released their latest album World Painted Blood in 2009, fans have a huge catalog of rockin’ jams to look forward to when the four-piece come to town.
