Sombr will return to Australia and New Zealand next year for his biggest headline shows in the region to date.

The US singer-songwriter has announced the Australian and New Zealand leg of his ‘You Are the Reason Tour’, which will take him to arenas across Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, and Auckland.

The run will kick off at Adelaide’s AEC Arena on Tuesday, April 13th, followed by shows at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena, Brisbane Entertainment Centre and Sydney’s Afterpay Arena, before wrapping up at Auckland’s Spark Arena on Tuesday, April 27th. Check out the full dates below.

It will mark Sombr’s first trip back to Australia and New Zealand since making his debut in the region last December, when he played sold-out headline dates alongside appearances at Spilt Milk.

Tickets will go on sale at 12pm on Tuesday, September 8th, following a Frontier Member presale from 10am on Monday, September 7th. All times are local. Sign up for presale here.

A lot has happened for the New York artist since then. Sombr released his debut album, I Barely Know Her, co-produced with Tony Berg (Phoebe Bridgers, The Replacements), following the breakout success of singles including “Back to Friends”, “12 to 12”, and “Undressed”.

“Back to Friends” became his biggest hit, reaching the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 and topping Spotify’s Global and US charts, while he also landed five songs in the Top 10 of Spotify’s Australian chart.

His breakthrough earned him a Best New Artist nomination at the 2026 Grammy Awards, following a run that also included a Best Alternative win at the MTV VMAs and performances on Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel Live!.

Sombr has continued releasing new music throughout 2026, including “Homewrecker” and “Potential”, followed by his latest single, “My Body Isn’t Ready”.
