For all the Laura Marling fans out there, here’s a new one for you off her third LP ‘A Creature I Don’t Know’. Marling has kept the haunting appeal from previous favourite tracks, but added a gradual acoustic incline throughout the song, until percussion begins and drives the song to a sweet melodic finish. Although the song may seem a little disjointed, going from dark origins and developing into a country pop tune, it seems that Marling is one of the few who can get away with a diverse song such as this.

Although the video is just a teaser at the moment – if it’s any hint as to the final product, it could end up being rather sweet. To hear the full LP, you’ll have to wait ’til September.
