Spiderbait will headline Garage Days, a new South Australian festival celebrating Australian indie, rock and alternative music from the early 2000s.
The festival launches on Saturday, February 6th, 2027, at Richard Hamilton Wines in McLaren Vale and will feature Jebediah, The Potbelleez, Gyroscope, The Delta Riggs and South Australian act The Lizards.
The lineup spans the rock, indie, punk, dance and alternative acts that dominated Australian airwaves at the turn of the millennium, capturing the spirit of an era when discovering your next favourite band often meant hearing them live.
Adelaide MC royalty JAKIJ will keep the party moving throughout the day, taking on hosting duties and stepping behind the decks as DJ between live sets.
Sam Rose, director, Boo Entertainment, said: “There’s something about the music of the late ’90s and early 2000s that instantly takes you somewhere. These are songs people grew up with, went out to, fell in love to, and probably still know every word to. Garage Days is about bringing those memories back, but doing it in a beautiful setting with great food, wine and an incredible live lineup.
“We also wanted to create something that families could enjoy together — where parents can share the music they loved with their kids and a younger generation can discover these incredible Australian bands live.”
Garage Days is an all-ages event, giving parents and their kids the chance to experience live Australian music together. The festival gives a new generation a chance to discover the bands and songs that shaped their parents’ teenage years, and for families to share the experience.

The event is all ages. Patrons under 18 must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
