The campaigning we witness during Hottest 100 season puts the US presidential rally to shame. Half of the fun of this countdown is seeing all the cooked PR tactics bands come up with to earn their place in the highly coveted countdown. This year, one band has simply hit the nail on the head.

Sydney pop-punk act Stand Atlantic have enlisted the help of a bunch of celebrities at the peak of their cultural relevance to raise awareness for their stunning track ‘Lavender Bones’.

So far they’ve managed to get stuntman and tv personality Bam Margera, noughties hitmaker Sean Kingston and OG Queer Eye legend Carson Kressley to rally behind them.

Honestly, they deserve to takeout the #1 spot for this cracking bit of marketing which is nothing short of genius. Oh and, the song slaps too. Check it out below.
