Steel Panther have confirmed that they’re currently working on a TV show.

Drummer Stix Zadninia (sticks it in ya, geddit?) confirmed in an interview with Audio Ink Radio that “we’re in discussions with a production company right now, and to have a TV show — that medium would be amazing. Or a feature film.

“We’re filming a lot of stuff for our YouTube channel, Steel Panther Television. And we’re always writing music. So we’re doing a lot of things to stay entertaining, to stay creative.

“We just wanna spread the  Steel Panther gospel as far and wide as possible — let everybody know it’s okay to not be politically correct.”

The band have been practising what they preach in the politically incorrect area, having recently released a new guitar pedal called the Poontang Boomerang.

The band also noted that the #MeToo movement was making it hard for them to perform, with frontman Michael Starr noting that coming to their show was like seeing a comedian making jokes about sex.

“If you go see a comic or even a magician, sometimes they have girls on stage. And comics make fun of having sex with girls and fucking them and all that kind of thing.”
