Dylan Frost and Paddy Cornwall of Sticky Fingers were reportedly involved in a blazing row on Saturday afternoon which resulted in New South Wales police intervening.

As Sydney Morning Herald reports, police were called to a fight between the frontman and bassist at around 5:30 pm on Faversham Street behind Marrickville Bowling and Recreation Club, where the two had been drinking.

A police spokesperson has revealed that that “younger man” — Dylan Frost— was taken to the hospital to receive treatment for bruising and redness on his face. Frost was searched before alighting the ambulance and was allegedly found with a knife, that was seized by police.

No charges have been laid against either party.

Sticky Fingers are yet to release a statement addressing the incident; however, the band shared a photo of Cornwall and Frost on their Instagram account after the incident took place.

The past few years have seen Sticky Fingers shrouded by controversy; allegations of violence, racism and sexist verbal abuse have plagued the band. This culminated in the band giving a disastrous interview with triple j’s Hack, that saw Frost respond to allegations of threatening behaviour with “boys will be boys.”

Back in May, bassist Paddy Cornwall took to Instagram stories to launch a tirade against triple j. The video saw Cornwall addresses triple j’s “fucking bullshit” playlisting as a result of the band’s music was silently blacklisted from the radio station.

“I got something to say, that no one else has the fucking cojones to say in Australia,” He shared at the time. “Triple J, fuck you and your fucking artist repertoire. We don’t fucking need you. We don’t want you because you play your fucking bullshit and you’re a bunch of fucking maggots.”
