Sufjan Stevens has finally released his 2007 track “Lonely Man Of Winter”. The track had previously only been shared with one fan back in 2007 as part of Stevens’ “Xmas Song Xchange Contest”.

The single also contains a recording of “Every Day Is Christmas” written by Alec Duffy for his winning entry into the competition in 2007. The single will be released on vinyl on December 7th via Asthmatic Kitty. All proceeds from the single go to Duffy’s non-profit venue in New York JACK.
