The son of convicted music executive Marion “Suge” Knight Jr. has again hit up social media to explain that not only is Tupac Shakur alive, but he’s making new tunes.

Back in September of 1996, a 25-year-old Tupac Shakur was shot and killed by an unknown assailant in a shooting in Las Vegas. Since his tragic passing there have been numerous theories about not only who pulled the trigger, but whether or not the iconic rapper was actually killed.

Regardless of your attitude towards these theories, there is however one name that keeps on coming up in relation to Tupac’s death; Suge Knight.

The former CEO of Death Row Records, Knight has been a rather controversial figure, and is noted for having been present when Tupac was shot back in 1996.

Since then, Knight has claimed he knows who killed Tupac, noting that he was in fact the real target. While these claims were later dismissed by Tupac’s bodyguard, Suge Knight made the headlines again back in September when he was sentenced to 28 years in prison in relation to a charge of voluntary manslaughter.

However, Knight’s son, Suge J. Knight, took to Instagram soon after to share a series of since-deleted posts that disputed Tupac’s supposed death.

Following a post that claimed that Tupac was alive and living in Malaysia, Knight asserted that certain individuals were planning to silence him, before posting heavily Photoshopped images of an aged Tupac with 50 Cent and Beyoncé.

Now, he’s at it again, with NME reporting that Suge J. Knight has again hit up Instagram to expose the ‘truth’.

After taking to social media to claim that he’s “got Pac back in the studio”, Knight soon revealed that there is “new music coming” at a later date.

Of course, when he was met with a serious amount of doubt and disbelief, Knight retreated to his Instagram stories to explain how whistleblowers like himself have been historically treated.

“First they call you crazy. Then they doubt you,” he explained. “And then they forget how they was treating you at first.”

While it seems as though Tupac Shakur is still tragically deceased, the estate of Tupac won a five-year legal battle last year over unpaid royalties. This lawsuit has also resulted in the returning of a number of unreleased master recordings, which are apparently set to be released on a handful of new posthumous albums in the future.

At this stage, there’s no word when or if we’ll see these posthumous releases, but we’re about 200% sure that Suge J. Knight didn’t oversee any of their recording sessions.
