Rekorderlig Sauna Sounds are all about embracing the unique, quirky and innovative – we’ve teamed up to present some of the country’s most trailblazing up and comers, getting them sweaty and ready to show off what makes them so special.
Sunscreen make the luscious indie pop of your dreams – the stuff summer days beg for. As part of Rekorderlig Sauna Sounds, the band got sweaty to show off just how psychedelic their sound can get, culminating in an ethereal performance of their track ‘Voices’.

To celebrate their epic performance, we got them to choose their favourite shimmery summer anthems – check it out below!
1. The Church – Under the Milky Way
“Reminds me of driving home to Forster with my dad from Sydney when he used to do Paddington Markets. We’d blast music and keep the windows down a bit to get the cool air in”. – Oliver
2. Paul Kelly – Under the Sun
“This song feels like the first dive under the waves at the beach, cleansing you from sweat and heat.” – Alex
3. Kylie Minogue – Spinning Around
“When I first saw this on video hits as a kid and thought ‘surely this has to be the best song in the world’. 20 years later and I’ll hijack any house party dance floor with it. Sydney 2000 forever.” – Sarah
4. Parquet Courts – Before The Water Gets Too High
“I was instantly hooked by the catchy groove and environmentally aware lyrics” – Hugo
5. ABRA – Fruit
“It sounds like the feeling of longing for someone in the middle of summer. Dark, hot, beautiful and painful.” – Sarah
