System Of A Down drummer John Dolmayan has recently posted a photo on Instagram of him in the studio with bassist Shavo Odadjian.
Last month Dolmayan extinguished all hopes of a new System Of A Down album, revealing that there is “one guy” within the band holding them back from releasing their sixth record. Dolmayan stated that “certain members of my band haven’t been able to make it work for themselves.”
If there’s no new System Of A Down music in the works then what could this elusive photo mean? Fans are speculating that the material Dolmayan and Odadjian are working on could be for These Grey Men; a project that was announced back in 2014.
There may be no new music in the works but System Of A Down are still touring. Playing four shows in The United States this October.
