Tekashi 6ix9ine has announced that he will be leaving social media in the weeks leading up to his release from house confinement, but he assures fans that he’ll be back and bigger than ever.
6ix9ine told TMZ that he temporarily deactivated his Instagram ahead of his home confinement ending in August. The rapper revealed that it was at his lawyer Lance Lazzaro’s advice to deactivate his account on account of his safety. The rapper revealed that his legal team fears he may mistakenly leak dangerous information about his whereabouts. According to the report, Tekashia and his team are yet to decide where he’ll move to once he’s free from house confinement.

Earlier this month, Captain Jonathan Tippet, who oversees the Los Angeles Police Department’s Robbery-Homicide Divison, revealed that he believes that social media posts made by Brooklyn driller Pop Smoke led to his homicide.

Tippet acknowledged that social media posts led those involved in the murder of Pop Smoke to the Hollywood Hills house he was staying in.

6ix9ine claims he’s going to have 5 bulletproof SUV’s escort him around town, but despite these safety precautions he has “no fear” of going out in public again.

Humour me here Tekashi, but perhaps your flamboyant, luscious peacock locks and the slew of “69” tattoos you have embellishing your frame may be a bit of an identity giveaway. A subdued balayage would do you wonders hun.

Earlier this week, Tekashi revealed that he believes he is surprised to still be alive. The rapper —who was released from prison in April on account of the coronavirus his compromised immune system due to asthma— has been serving his sentence under house arrest.

He’ll soon be a free man, and as XXL reports an Instagram blog questioned whether 6ix9ine would be walking around the streets as soon as he is able to finally remove his ankle tracker.

“Y’all think 6ix9ine gonna be back running the streets when he gets off house arrest or will he move outta America and hide out for the rest of his career?” asked the fan blog.

In response, the rapper said “I’m surprised I didn’t die yet,” before suggesting that dying might be good for his career.

“It’s not so bad being dead the way ya support the artist after they die #fakelove”.
