The Ocean Party are four kids from Wagga Wagga, who grew up playing music together, and now reside in Melbourne, where their dreamy, Paul Kelly-esque indie pop has been heard supporting bands like Oh Mercy, Owl Eyes, and most recently, Ron S Peno and The Superstitions.

The first single off their debut album The Sun Rolled Off The Hills, will be released on October 8th, and it’s a light-hearted tune, one that should be accompanied with roof top beers and a hazy sunset. It has been the topic of many a discussion by Triple RRR host Dave Graney (who mentions things like rosy cheeks, how the members all look around 12 years old), and is sure to become a new favorite.
