It looks like we’re getting new blink-182 music sooner than anticipated.

In a recent interview with Front Row Live EntertainmentTravis Barker has confirmed that the forthcoming blink-182 record will be out before this year’s instalment of Warped Tour. The Atlantic City date of Warped Tour is set to kick off on June 29.

Back in February, Barker likened the new blink-182 record to their 2003 Untitled album.

“I’m really excited because we’re about 70 per cent finished with our album,” Barker shared. “I feel like this is the closest we’ve come to something like blink-182 since that album, which is one of my favourite blink albums by far.”

In this recent interview, he has further echoed that statement, sharing  “It’s kind of anything goes. It’s the same vibe that was that was going on when we did the self-titled. Literally anything goes. I think we’re creating one of the most important blink albums, so I’m really proud of it.”“It will definitely be out before the Warped Tour,” Barker confirmed. “I think we’ll be wrapped up right after the time we play Back To The Beach.”

Barker has also shared that there are three producers working on the upcoming record. Confirming that the band will be working alongside John Feldmann, —who produced blink’s last full-length effort California— The Futuristics, and Pharrell.

“So Feldmann has been working on the record, but I’ve also been doing a lot of writing at my own studio and then bringing it to Feldmann.” he shared. “We’ve also worked with Pharrell on the new blink album. And we’ve also worked with this other producer The Futuristics, which is a team.”

Last month, Travis Barker dropped his collaborative track with Yungblud and Halsey, ’11 Minutes.’ Check it out below.
