More than 35 years since they began blasting out their iconic brand of short, fast punk songs, The Ramones are to be honoured with a lifetime achievement award at the Grammys in February. They’ll receive the accolade along with actress Julie Andrews, Dolly Parton and jazz drummer Roy Haynes. Alas, three of the four founding members are dead, with Dee Dee, Joey and Johnny Ramone all passing away between 2001 and 2004. Luckily for us, their music lives on!
