Rolling Stone Australia has collaborated with Southern Cross University in bringing the Rolling Stone Music Scholarship back for its second year. A grant that will be awarded to a hard-working individual eager to study a Bachelor of Contemporary Music starting in 2022.
For many of us, the COVID era has been a period of rumination and reexamination. According to Prudential’s latest Pulse for the American Worker survey, half of all workers say that the pandemic has caused them to reevaluate their careers. With 48% rethinking the type of job they want post-pandemic, and 53% considering switching to an entirely different industry.
If during this time of reflection, you’ve found yourself coming back to the romantic notion of working in music, take this as a sign to go out on a limb and grab life by the reins. Navigating the mythologised world of music may seem like a daunting, impenetrable task. It isn’t, and Southern Cross University will equip you with all the tools you need.
