The Wombats have expanded their headline tour of the country this year.
With already announced shows in Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney, they’ve now added two additional shows in Wollongong and Sunshine Coast, to round out their upcoming Australian tour.
They’ll also appear at SummerSalt Festival in Torquay and Fremantle.
The UK indie favourites will return to Australia with new songs from their sixth studio album, Oh! The Ocean, which is out now.
The album was recorded in Echo Park, Los Angeles, in July 2024 with producer John Congleton (St Vincent, Wallows, Death Cab for Cutie). Its title was inspired by a beach trip frontman Murph took with his family.
Their previous album, Fix Yourself, Not the World (2022), debuted at #2 on the Australian charts.

Joining The Wombats on tour will be Del Water Gap, Bea and Her Business, and Ra Ra Viper.
