Third Man Records has unveiled a podcast dedicated to unpacking the history of seminal outfit The White Stripes.

Striped launched earlier this week and is hosted by music journalist Sean Cannon. The podcast promises to take listeners on a journey through The White Stripes genesis and meteoric rise by “talking to the people who witnessed it all firsthand.”

The podcast features interview from members of  The MC5, Pavement, The Raconteurs, The Detroit Cobras, The Dirtbombs, The Soledad Brothers, filmmaker Lance Bangs, and more.

“Lately I’ve been afraid of getting in a car crash and having my last dying words be ‘shit, I really should’ve gotten the White Stripes story down for posterity,’” Third Man Records co-founder and White Stripes archivist Ben Blackwell shared in a statement. “This is my attempt to avail myself to somewhat less lame last words.”

Striped currently has two 30-minute episodes available to stream, which you can find here.
