Thundamentals are gearing up to release their brand new album in just over a month, and to celebrate, they’ve announced they’re hitting the road!
Just a couple of months back, Thundamentals dropped their newest single, ‘I Miss You’. The first taste of their upcoming album, I Love Songs, it sees the group taking a bit more of a sentimental approach and dealing with topics that we’ve all dealt with before.
Now, the group have released their latest single, ‘All I See Is Music’, another track which shows that the group’s brand new record is going to be a bit of an intimate affair.
“Everyone knows how f**ked we are politically, and Thundamentals have been banging on about it for ten years,” explains Tuk. “We just wanted to write love songs instead, ones that would actually make people feel calm and connect with people around them”
Now, with I Love Songs just over a month away, the group have decided to whet the appetites of their eager fans, announcing a huge national tour for this November and December, which will see them trek all over the country with some of their best musical mates.
Kicking off at The Forum in Melbourne, the group will hit up Brisbane, Hobart, Sydney, Adelaide, and Perth, while also making a stop over in Canberra for the Spilt Milk Festival.
With acts such as Joyride, Ziggy Ramo, and Jesswar coming along for the ride, this is going to be a pretty huge tour, and a perfect way to celebrate one of the biggest Aussie releases of the year.
Thudamentals’ pre-sale kicks off on Thursday, August 9th at 10am, and closes at 10am, on Friday August 10th, when the venue pre-sale takes over. General public tickets will be on sale from 10am on Monday, August 13th through Thundamentals’ website, so be sure to head along to scope out all the appropriate ticketing details.
