Tina Weymouth, the founding member and bassist of both Talking Heads and Tom Tom Club, is set to be inducted into the Connecticut Women’s Hall of Fame tomorrow. She will be joined by Tony Award-winning actress Anika None Rose and ballerina Lucia Chase.

The Connecticut Women’s Hall of Fame was established in 1993, it honours female-identifying Connecticut natives and residents. Previous inductees include Katherine Hepburn, Laura Nyro, and Annie Liebovitz.

Talking Heads were inducted into the Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame in 20o2. The band’s last studio album Naked was released in 1988. Since their disbandment Weymouth has worked on Tom Tom Club, a musical project with her husband and former Talking Heads drummer Chris Frantz.
