The Wackids are a French trio who cover popular rock songs on toy instruments (or those ones they force you to play at school), and according to their website they are touring stadiums throughout the first half of the year, which is a pleasing trend we hope continues.
The three members go by the names of Blowmaster, Bongostar, and Speedfinger, all of which sound vaguely sexual but relate to the instruments they play. In the past they have covered ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’, ‘I Love Rock and Roll’, ‘Smoke On The Water’, and ‘Enter Sandman’, all of which can be found here.
