MR BIRDSONG

A song about Peace in War time. To properly understand the message of this song you must go for a walk outside. On your way you must have no destination. Now that you are free of worry tune out all of the city or country noise and listen only to the birds.

The song that rises is the same one we play here. It is a protest song written by the earth and given to the birds to sing to the humans. Only we are far too busy to enjoy their song. We have things like the atom bomb to make and TV shows to watch.

HELLO TRANSMISSION

This is a song we originally wrote in reverse. It was too hard to play that way so we straightened it out back to normal. To hear the way the song was originally you must play it in reverse on your music device. There are no secret messages recorded in non reverse.

RADIANT MOUNTAIN ROAD

Stand up tall. There is work to be done. Stop wasting time on the computer. There is work to be done. Shed your dead skin. Become.

I AM YOU

Look in the mirror. Look at your friends. Look at your love. You are all the same. Surround yourself with love. Surround yourself with friendship. Surround yourself with music. But be careful. You are now surrounded by an invincible army on a vision quest for total JOY

VOLUME PEAKS

A song of self and the magic of the macrocosm. To be played loud on a burning mountain or sung in unison in under water caves.

BABEL

The lyrics to this song are “We are building a song up to heaven” But heaven is an abstract term for music and the guitars are singing the lyrics. In the live setting we encourage folks to come up and sing their own beautiful words.

BELIEF’D

This song is based off the writings of Wellspring Lovejoy. A reclusive american author prominent in the love cult era of the early Sixties. I was reading a xerox copy of his book Impenetrable Thoughts under a tree when my dog started barking.

I was eating a biscuit at the time so I thought perhaps he wants some of my food. I gave him a piece (which he happily obliged to) but then he started barking again. Up until this point I had never heard my dog bark before.

Even stranger was the tone of his bark had a human voice quality. We sat like that for a while staring at each other. Him barking and me staring. Eventually I thought to write down the sound of his bark “Belief’d!” and the rest of the words came out in succession. After each bark I would write a verse. When the barking ceased I knew the song was over

SILENT OATH

This song was made through a secret process I cant really explain here. Lets just call it a traditional folk song written in the year 2015.

IHU

A song based on a space ship. The lyrics came automatically and without thought. Any coincidences are purely coincidental. All words came from the ether
