A war of sorts has broken out between presenters at Triple M and Triple J.
It started when Triple M aired a skit poking fun at Triple J’s niche programming – and in particular Lewi McKirdy, who departed the station earlier this year. It’s your basic hipster jab, (and not their first) although it does seem to suggest drugs are a large part of the triple j culture, too.
Triple J’s new breakfast team Ben and Liam took the bait, hitting back with an amusing take on Triple M’s meat pie footy accadacca culture, featuring DJ’s Zipper and The Shit-Stick; you can probably work out which on-air team they are lampooning fairly easily.
