In upsetting news, somebody has reimagined Donald Trump speech in the style of Metallica’s Master of Puppets closing track ‘Damage Inc.’

The speech interpolated with the raucous metal anthem was taken from Donald Trump’s public address the day of the Capitol’s siege on January 6th. The mastermind with a taste for chaos behind the whole operation is non-other than Lars von Retriever.

Lars von Retriever’s work has been a beloved staple of the metal community for years now, with Trump a frequent victim of his mashup creations. You may recall the video in which the exiting president “covered” System of a Down’s ‘Chop Suey’, or perhaps the time he cut his teeth on Iron Maiden’s ‘Run To The Hills’? Maybe his scorching rendition of Slayer’s ‘Raining Blood’ was ore your cup of tea.

Whatever arena of metal is up your Strasse I promise that Lars von Retriever probably has a Trump-inspired remix to cater to your taste.

“I’ve been trying my best to entertain you and make America and the whole world a little bit more metal,” says von Retriever on his Patreon page. “I really believe that listening to metal music can make people happier.” You can check it out in all its glory below.

In other news, today, Donald Trump revealed that he will use his waning remnants of influence to order the construction of 250 statues immortalising significant figures in US history in the proposed “National Garden of American Heroes.”

The expansive list of those Trump intends to honour include musicians, artists, astronauts, actors, politicians, athletes and other notable American icons (and, strangely, a few non-Americans.)
