Just when we thought the leaked phone call involving Donald Trump couldn’t get any more cooked, someone has mashed it up with a Rent song.

That’s right, the hooligans known as the Gregory Brothers have mixed Trump’s phone call with the Georgia secretary of state with ‘Seasons of Love’ from Rent.

ICYMI, The Washington Post recently obtained a recording of a phone call between Trump and Brad Raffensperger in which the pair discuss the results of the US presidential election.

Within the recording, Trump asks Raffensperger to help “find” 11,780 votes in order to attempt to swing the state in his favour, despite Joe Biden already securing victory.

“The people of Georgia are angry — the people in the country are angry, and there’s nothing wrong with saying, you know, um, that you’ve recalculated,” Trump is heard saying.

“Well, Mr President, the challenge that you have is, the data you have is wrong,” Raffensperger replied.

Trump making specific mention of “11,780” votes assumedly reminded the Gregory Brothers of the lyric “Five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes” from ‘Seasons of Love’.

As a result, the Gregory Brothers replaced the original line “Five hundred twenty-five thousand moments so dear”  with Trump saying “Eleven thousand seven hundred eighty votes, which is one more than we have”.

“But have they moved the inner parts of the machines and replaced them with other parts?” Trump continues to sing within the brief but weirdly catchy remix.

It’s not the first time Trump’s words have been mixed with a classic tune, with a video of him seemingly performing AC/DC’s ‘Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap’ having gone viral late last year.
