The Twilight at Taronga summer concert series is returning in 2026, featuring The Paper Kites, Cloud Control, The Rubens, and more.
The annual summer series brings together world-class live music, breathtaking Sydney Harbour views, and Australia’s iconic natural wildlife. Kicking off on Friday, February 6th, 2026, it will go for five back-to-back weekends.
The opening night will see indie-folk-rock band The Paper Kites take the stage, followed by a double-header on Saturday, February 7th from psych-rock masters Cloud Control and R&B infused rock mavens The Preatures. There will be a ‘Lil’ Twilight’ show during the day on Saturday, featuring Emma Memma.
Sons Of The East will bring their country-blues-folk infusion on Friday, February 13th, and Valentine’s Day will be a night for couples to enjoy nostalgia and unforgettable tunes with live classic hits, treated to five incredible artists — Richard Clapton, Ross Wilson, Wendy Matthews, Mi-Sex and V.Spy V.Spy.
The following weekend will feature Xavier Rudd, one of Australian music’s all-time greats.
Beloved five-piece alternative rock band The Rubens are set for Thursday, February 26th, and award-winning singer-songwriter Vera Blue will make a welcome return on Friday, February 27th with her elegant electronica. Rounding out the weekend will be the sun-drenched psychedelic grooves of Dope Lemon.
Thursday, March 5th will see a taste of New Zealand, with Marlon Williams set to play, while Sydney hip-hop legends Bliss n Eso will bring 25 years of party-rocking energy on Friday, March 6th. Wrapping up the series on Saturday, March 7th, annual favourites Bjorn Again will take a trip down memory lane with their ABBA-endorsed tribute show.
