After winning over hearts and minds with a stunning SITG performance before an absolutely rammed crowd, Wollongong’s favourite son, Tyne-James Organ has announced plans to release his debut EP, titled Persevere.

The troubadour will then be taking the show on the road, with a run of dates in support of the release moments after it hits shelves both digitally and otherwise.

Set for release on Friday, 30th September, Persevere is set to be a longer form expression of the same heartfelt and honest sonic poetry Organ has build his reputation on.

Throughout his career as a musician, Organ has opted to dig into painful and traumatic experiences to craft his wears, including the passing of his father in 2016, which inspired his debut single ‘Watch You Go’, and a breakup that gave wings to his follow-up track ‘Graceful’.

Persevere will feature both tracks as well as his latest tune, ‘Something New’. Already, the three tracks of copped a well-earned flogging on airwaves and AirPods throughout the land, reaching into the physical realm to tug on your heartstrings and make you goddamn feel.

Speaking of the direction his music is headed, Organ – who now calls Melbourne home – explains, “The older I’m getting now there’s a sense of everything broadening and it’s coming with maturity.

“When I’m sitting down with mates and chatting, no-one’s talking shit or small talk, we’re talking about real issues in the world.”

Obviously an incredibly thoughtful and considerate dude, it’s no surprise both on paper and through speakers why Tyne-James Organ has impressed industry hob nobs, finicky music critics and stern music lovers in one fell swoop.
