ULTRA Australia is set to make its return to Australian shores next year, unveiling its dates and locations earlier today.

Since its 1999 inception, the ULTRA Music Festival has been held yearly in Miami, Florida, becoming synonymous with the electronic music genre ever since.

In 2007 however, the festival started to branch out internationally, first heading to Ibiza, then heading to almost everywhere else in the world, except for Australia.

Thankfully, that changed in 2018, when the festival made its debut down under. This was then followed up by a massive second edition in 2019, which expanded over to Sydney, and drew in over 40,000 audience members with a lineup that featured, Martin Garrix, The Chainsmokers, and more.

Now, organisers have revealed the Australian leg of the festival will indeed be making its return in 2020, announcing its dates and locations earlier today.

Kicking off at Parramatta Park in New South Wales on March 7th, the festival will conclude the next day at Melbourne’s Flemington Racecourse, turning the whole weekend into a massive event for Aussie music fans.

‘The iconic ULTRA Music Festival remains the biggest and most successful music festival brand in the world,” explained Travis Grech, ULTRA Australia Project Manager.

“Together with the global team, we strive to deliver a unique, first-class music festival experience with stand-out production at premier venues. We are excited to bring ULTRA Australia back in 2020.”

While ticket registration is now open, lineup details are yet to arrive, so be sure to keep an eye out for future developments, and be sure to check out all the pertinent details about the 2020 event below.
